His stage name is MEGAHAZZ. Megahazz is an artist who has really carved a niche for himself; considering his genre of Afrobeat which he calls “Street Gospel”. Megahazz is a master in his genre “StreetGospel”. Street Gospel is a fusion of Afrobeat, Rap, Pop and Gospel music. The melodious blend of the aforementioned genres, gave birth to the easy-listenings Megahazz is mellifluously churning out for the listening pleasure of the teeming demographic of music lovers all over the world. Megahazz is musically endowed as he is quite versatile when it comes to music making. Megahazz started singing since he was in short pants. Megahazz is not a new name in the music industry but there is a saying that “every

dog has its day”. In the year 1997 Megahazz formed a cultural troupe

popularly known as Chinemere Boys. The group toured round the country performing at different occasions in different towns and cities within Nigeria. Then Megahazz was the linchpin of the group as he was the chief vocalist and the lead drummer. So many abnormalities popped-up leading to the abrupt splitting of the Cultural Troupe in 2001.

Megahazz wrote his first rap song in 2004 and continued to write numerous rap songs at the time. In 2006 he released his single titled

“Good To Go” the song was produced by the Oyoyo croner J. Martins. The song was a Hit, pleasant and sublime song, but lacked proper

promotion due to lack of fund at the time.

   In the year 2007 Megahazz left the shores of Nigeria in a quest to ameliorate the already deteriorating situations around his life at the time. His voyage abroad brought a sudden pause to his musical pursuit, as his career was suspended in abeyance for good number of years.

Megahazz is a Raper, Singer, Songwriter, Drummer and Dancer.

His music inspirations are unending and ear-friendly as his source is deeper. Megahazz is back to take his rightful position in the industry.
