Nigerian Singer-songwriter Jlyricz releases his brand new single “Inside”
The song which deals with the vulnerability of a Christian as he admits his vices and while seeking to be filled with the Holy Spirit so He does not derail from His Christian walk with God.
“I wrote Inside at a point in my life when I was so eager to “blow”, I was homeless and I needed funds to get me an apartment and a decent life. Music was all I had and I figured it had to come from there; I just had to blow even though I had no concrete budget to push my songs. I couldn’t even afford to rent a small apartment. After a while I started questioning my motive for saving God; is it because of what He would give or because I truly loved and revered Him as my personal savior. If I get what I need, will I still serve Him with everything I had? Those thoughts birthed the song “Inside”.
