Emma-Juani Eka Asiya, an Akwa Ibom based prolific songwriter and music minister, popularly known as “Emmy-D” by close friends and ” “Sarafina” by her church (Christ for the world mission,Eket) was born in October,26. She is the 2nd in a family of 5 and the 1st daughter. Emma-Juani is a native of Ikot ubok udom in Nsit Atai local government area of Akwa Ibom state. She started singing at age 4 in Christ for the world mission children choir and by age 13,She was already writing songs for Christ for the world mission,Eket teenage choir. Her music ministry started in the 90s with Abundant life Music under the mentorship of Pastor Sammy Totu. She has over a 100 songs to her credit and has featured in many events in and outside Akwa Ibom state among which are:Desire,Eket; Eket Atmosphere of worship(EKAWO),I believe in Etinan, A night with the king( Calabar),Jesus is Lord crusade, alongside several others. She has ministered on the same platform with Pastor Aity Dennis, Pastor Esther Edoho, Preye Odede, Afy Douglas,Edikan James…to mention but a few.

Emma-Juani released her first album “Blessing to me”in 2008 and her 2nd Album”Iduhe nte Afo was released in 2011. She also featured in “CHRISTMAS MADE IN AKWA IBOM STATE ” in 2018 as the lead artist and the video has been on AKBC every Christmas season till date.Emma-Juani ministers under the unction of the Holy Spirit and her dexterity and originality endears her to her fans.She is back with another inspirational single “SPEECHLESS!”which centers on the overwhelming love and mercies of God. She is presently the president,Gospel Music Ministers Forum,Eket, a very active member of Akwa Ibom state Gospel music ministers forum and many others. She is also a licensed practising Nurse with the Akwa Ibom state civil service commission.

The song “SPEECHLESS “is Emma Juani’s way of expressing God’s goodness, love, mercies and grace. God wows me all the time with His extravagant grace and unconditional love which leaves me speechless! It is a danceable traditional tune sort of, which puts listeners in a fun and happy mood.
